Do I need insurance or a licence?
No licence or permit is required to hold a fireworks display, just the permission of the venue or land owner. Illusion Fireworks carry a comprehensive £10m employer, product and public liability insurance covering the entire fireworks display.
How do I book?
That's easy BOOK A DISPLAY
When can I have fireworks?
The firework regulations state fireworks can be used 365 days a year and between the hours of 7am (yes really!) and 11pm. There are exceptions to this rule that apply to a handful of national celebrations:
Bonfire Night 7am until midnight
New Year's Eve 7am until 1am
Chinese New Year 7am until 1am
Diwali 7am until 1am
What about the weather?
Contrary to popular belief, rain has no adverse effect on professional fireworks. The fireworks themselves are waterproofed to protect them from the rain, the
effects burn so hot that rain drops in the air are vaporised! Fireworks in the snow look magical! The one thing that could be a problem is very high wind, we design countermeasures into our shows and identify alternative firing sites where possible. It is incredibly rare to cancel a display as a result of bad weather.
How much room do I need?
In an ideal world a nice big open space with plenty of access would be perfect. Sadly the reality is these sorts of site are few and far between. Illusion Fireworks seek to overcome a variety of challenges whether it be a rooftop, a pontoon in the middle of a lake or a church in a busy town, we will find a way to safely fill the sky with magic!
